[CEX] Centralized Exchange (Korea)
Description
CEX (Centralized Exchange) is a platform where a central operator mediates and manages customers' cryptocurrency transactions, similar to traditional financial systems. Operated by a single company or institution, users create an account, complete identity verification (KYC), and deposit fiat currency or cryptocurrency into the exchange to begin trading.
These are fiat-to-crypto exchanges that operate with VASP approval from South Korea's regulatory authorities.
